The words family and dedication come to mind when I think of Jamie.
Jamie was born in Dubuque, Iowa and moved to Colorado Springs when she was six years old with her mother, Kathy, which was also her best friend. In high school, Jamie was very athletic and participated in track & field, volleyball, and other sports.
Jamie loved to spend time with friends making memorable moments. She always placed her friends well being before her own.
Jamie met her future husband, Ryan, when she was 20 years old. Ryan always told me that he knew she was going to be his future wife once he laid eyes on her. They were inseparable and crazy in love.
They knew they needed to add an addition to their family because they had so much love to give. After a year of being together they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Lilly, to the family. Jamie did not skip a beat and became a great, caring and loving mom, as we all knew she would. Then 3 years later, they had a son and his name is Garrett. He brought so much joy to everyone as Lilly did. Then three years after Garrett, they welcomed their second son, Jacob.
These kids were her passion and family was always her focus. I cannot think of a more dedicated wife and mother as Jamie displayed in her young 32 years here with us. Jamie spread love and happiness to everyone she encountered and a friend to many people such as myself.
Her life through her husband, wonderful kids, and the great memories she left with everyone will live forever.
